Shocked to see his wife's face without makeup, this man immediately sued for divorce
A man in Egypt was shocked to see his wife's bare face and reportedly immediately filed for divorce in family court.
Adapting Gulf News Monday (1/12/2021), this man whose name was not mentioned asked for a divorce from his wife a month after marriage because he felt that he had been tricked with makeup.
Local media reported that the man was completely shocked the morning after their wedding day because his wife's face was so different without makeup.
"I was cheated by her because she used to do heavy makeup before marriage. She looked ugly without makeup," she told the court.
The man got to know his wife through Facebook where he used to post lots of beautiful pictures wearing full makeup and after meeting her a few times, he decided to marry her.
"But after the wedding, I saw her real face without makeup. I was shocked..."
"Because she doesn't look like anyone I met a few times before getting married," the man said, complaining to the court.
"I saw her pictures on Facebook, she looks so different when she's not wearing makeup. I was fooled and wanted to divorce her."
